Derek Jeter, and them damn Yankee's...

I remember being a loyal fan of the Baltimore Orioles. I also recall, that mentality, that toughness that was so evident in Derek Jeter, and them damn Yankee's!

Those Yankee teams annoyed me to no end. They seem to have had a mind set, ie, no Yankee mystique, no magic, just that gear, in their brain, where they'd kick ass and just, ratchet up a notch, almost like it was on command, and they would routinely take it to the next level.

This was especially true against lesser teams!
And unfortunately, the O's, Red Socks etc., were no match for them, fact of the matter is, not too many teams, were on the same level with them period!

And as far as the O's, they wouldn't allow themselves to be beaten by teams such as the O's, they were not having it!
It was so plain to see, the O's were not on the same page!

Boy, what a great player Derek Jeter was, trusted and reliable!
In those glory day's, he was the model of consistency and always the catalyst, (like they say), "the straw that stirred the drink", and they were in the mix, in the hunt, on a regular!

They had that thing they call, chemistry. And Mr. Steinbrenner was indeed a winner, he was on his game like no other contemporary, he was beyond compare! The man just knew a Yankee, when he saw one, and who in their right mind, would say no to all his money?

You look back and realize, Derek Jeter and them damn Yankee's, and it becomes very clear, they were on a mission, and hardly ever did they allow the bottom teams to defeat them on a regular!

They were built like that!
Which brings me to the Washington Nats, and what ails them @ times, and why they won't win a world series!
The bottom teams beat them on a regular. They're built like that!
And it has to be set in stone, teams have to know that, if you're down on your baseball luck, you're on the bottom, we're so sorry but, we're on a mission to annihilate you, annoy you, destroy you, because it's a sense of urgency, that we remain on top! Please excuse us, but the foot on your neck will stay there forever!...
And by the way I would some how, bring in one of those fearsome slugger type, and a professional hitter, Robinson Cano is such a hitter, trust me, I could care less about what the media have said, Cano is worth every dime he get's!
Yes, you blew it Nats, spend the cash, attract the class!!!

Mean while, moving forward, that mean streak, in baseball speak, is exactly why them damn Yankee's were on that click, that kick ass click, they'd open a can every outing, win some, lose a few. But never lose too often to the lesser teams, because like winning, losing is contagious too!

I guess the Nats have to learn, how to annoy people like Derek Jeter and them damn Yankee's use to do. Oh yeah, that's exactly what those great Yankee squads wound do, annoy the hell out of me and countless others.
And Derek Jeter was the ring leader, he swung a mean stick for them damn Yankee's, he was on that click.
